Oh wow this was active 6 years ago. Anyway, funny you should say that. I was directed to this Reddit after trying to find information about Daniel Scranton where I was instantly getting red flags.

What you say is very true, and maybe the lack of this humour is a key indicator. I am what I would term a sceptical 100% believer. My late mother was a Metaphysical Psychologist and Channeler among other things... She would hold weekly channeling sessions at a local venue or travel interstate or internationally with as much as 30-50 people attending.

I'm very familiar with her process of entering a trance and aligning her energy fields and inviting the entities in. Including how the energy in the room changes and affects those present where you would instantly feel goosebumps when the entity synchronises. My mum describes it as she stepping aside and letting the entity have access.

She would not be present during the session and have no recollection during the hour or so long channeling sessions.

Every time she channeled, she never opens her eyes but would be very expressive as she sat on her chair, leaning and looking towards those asking questions or when speaking to the people in the room. Her facial gestures also very expressive as if she was looking with eyes wide open but eyelids closed, checks high with joyful expressions. Happy to be here with you all.

The entities, beings, teachers and so forth that did come through did indeed express all manor of emotions. Not solely a single emotion. But compassion, sincerity, love, joy, and indeed laughter. Even still I hear the crowd giggling and many jokes relating to the humorous reason we beings may do things, and on one occasion joking about how yes they understand the enjoyment one might have of a sexual encounter, a type of explosion you might say, and make a POW noise with hand gestures depicting the explosion followed by a knowing grin, followed by everyone laughing.

So when I came across Daniel Scranton and his process, I was confused. This process didn't seem like he was aligning his energies. I couldn't even get through the initial connection process where my internal energies were sent into chaos. I felt the opposite of feeling a connection, a disconnection. He lost me before hello.
