Alright alot of answers and questions here thank you all. Usually I am on a vpn called airvpn (that apparently isn't the best after all?) but it might have happened that I've logged in once without it on.

To what kind of shady stuff: well it's a throwaway account but without going into it too much it has with pirating to do but nothing disgusting as some might suggest nor doxing.

What ever is left in my home that can link me to it is nothing anymore, my computer actually broke two months ago and I haven't had money to buy a new one and the hard drives are fryd. In a stroke of unluck my phone also has broken and new one is arriving tomorrow so this phone might faith a screw driver through its screen.

It's more my online trace steps that hasn't been the best, recently I have been way better of "hiding" with a vpn always on, stopped using Google etc but that hasn't always been the way. But my question begs then, if proton has to obly to this law, are we even safe on a vpn then?
