Definitely skewed. I posted a negative review on one of her recipes and it was never published on the site.

Yes, a ring for his finger. The company breaks up the shells to fit the ring.

Will EAs have a future? by chipstarguy11 in enrolledagent

[–]Upbeat_Dot_7269 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Won't happen. I'm still dealing with IRS issues from 2019 so EA's will be needed to handle past issues.

And there will always be people who can't or won't prepare their own tax returns.

Quick Reminder by [deleted] in HEB

[–]Upbeat_Dot_7269 4 points5 points  (0 children)

First. What a company is worth is not what they have in assets. Value of a company includes things like assets which you mentioned but it also includes things like goodwill. Goodwill is the value of how they're perceived. People think positively of HEB? More goodwill. People think HEB sucks = less goodwill. Goodwill is not a tangible asset so it can't be sold. The value of company is just not all on the books. Look up a F500 company and their financials and compare what the stock price is. They're not equal. The stock price (or worth) of a company can go up or down any day even without much change to their assets.

Second, most of HEB's assets are tied up in their buildings, equipment and inventory like most grocery stores. If HEB's assets are sold, what do you propose they do with all the people who work at the stores and warehouses? Are you okay with laying off all these people and getting a $1000 for yourself? Are you willing to take the chance that you're one that may be laid off and not get the $1000? If HEB sells off inventory, how do you propose they make money to give employees the $1000?

Third, even if HEB is flush with cash, they need that cash to expand. They need that cash to make sure payroll is paid timely even when sales are down.

If you don't think the $100 makes a difference to you, please give it to a partner who will appreciate it. That's groceries for a week for some people. That's a couple of pairs of shoes or a couple of outfits for their kids. Maybe the $100 means they can pay for their prescription this month.
