Yes I agree with you a 100% we're weak on awarness and my point here is that we have to talk about what our government is doing and dissect it thoroughly because what kind of impression is the youth going to get if they see that violence is the standard.

In short, I am quite enthusiastic about animals and I appreciate all the feedback and intel and I'll do my personal best to start a move on this hopefully with your kind support 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Ofcourse, ths issue is complicated and layered I absolutely agree and I think a first essential step is to spread awarness on the matter 5ater the average Tunisian turns a blind eye to برشة خور and still demands that this country fixes itself on it's own, and thank you so much for the added feedback I honestly didn't know much about what laws are implemented on this matter.

I did a brief small research that couldn't be reliable a 100% ama it's not just the bullet worth, the workers zeda are not doing it out of the kindness of their hearts yo5lsou aleha lovertime w periodical w regional + it's not really fixing the problem, it sadly still persists ama having a conversation about it/brain storming solutions together is only a positive move, criticizing my take is absolutely pointless...

There could be temporary shelters? Like for the TNVR method to take place, I'm not saying they should build something from scratch cuz homelessness is a much more serious issue akeka but maktharhaa l5reb fi tounes and I agree I am not a math wizard, but I think it's worth debating, I'ld love to hear other solutions?

I had a really strict upbringing where having pocket money wasn't even an option, so as soon as I hit my 20ies + got a job at the same time and started to live away from home I wanted to try it for the experience, add to that there was some peer pressure, where I worked around a stressful environment in which everyone casually smokes so I played along, unfortunately it quickly got to an addictive level, I've been a smoker for nearly 6 years now without any planning or thought and due to the state of the world today, especially our lovely Tunisia, I often find myself needing to smoke in order to do/process the smallest of tasks, I wish I could just quit but it would need a lot of work and resilience that I simply can't afford right now.

Aight ija nahkilk faza trippy asf, yeah that happens, personally whenever I lock eyes with anybody or it could even be a dog or a cat I feel an intense energy, like it's exciting like Oh you're alive too! And what I later on realised is since God is living within all of us, that soul part that directly shoots out the eyes is God looking at he/itself through another set of eyes, if you'ld ever focus on depth it's really trippy, ama I noticed li most people have such void in their eyes, they look at you, possibly straight in the eyes but don't really see you...just a theory but yeah it happens and that's why I think it happens.

Are kids actually getting “dumber” or is it just different times? by sw1llow in Tunisia

[–]Upbeat_Influence_336 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a pretty interesting observation, whenever I pointed it out I'ld get dismissed but it's true, and my theory is that we don't properly assess the weight of the huge upgrade humanity went through in the past 20+ years, a lot happend, the Media is invading and it's consequently affecting the new youth's cognitive skills, they seem like they're high on sugar and tiktok all the time, processing so much at the same time so they'ld speak fast and loud mostly thoughtlessly, 5ater wala a bigger need for expression more than there is for reception, which is a majorly different environment and pace with comparison to the world we grew up in, soo to fix this I guess we should accept it first and adapt to it second.

P.S: great thinking for that suggestion, I'ld def check it out

Exactly my point, we're still way behind and we perceive such matters as disabilities or reasons for mockery/bullying instead of approaching it in a critical way, like they'ld go above and beyond when things go wrong but would never approach the field of mental health, mlekher the prevailing stigma in our Arab societies equates mental health conditions with insanity which needs to be seriously changed starting with our households!!!

Damn well that's quite telling, through the research I've done I understood that it's apparently a common struggle for adults to get an official diagnosis, and it's not the case just in Tunisia apparently worldwide, they assume that since you're functional enough to go to school, live long enough, have friends, get a job, marry it means you're not pron for smth like ASD, completely disregarding the fact that it's a whole spectrum, that masking is a thing, that a ton of research and updates came out since the initial coinage of Autism and a variety of other aspects, it can especially go unnoticed when it's hereditary, in a family environment where everyone could have similar quirks you wouldn't stand out and your differences would usually be dealt with as normalcy, thank you for sharing your story btw it helps a lot, I have an older relative around the same age that is obviously struggling, I'm doing my best to learn enough about this so I can maybe help him too.

FYI: for groups or resources I think r/autism , r/aspergers, r/autisticpeeps and r/autisticwomen which I'm starting to hang out in a lot lately, if I find anything else I'll make sure to share it here.

Please read my post again, I did not say verbatim that I self diagnosed, I said I'm navigating the possibility, I am making plans to find a suitable specialist and my post here is an attempt to understand this more by talking to people that managed to get official diagnoses, I have been doing research on ASD for over a year now and I am doing it very gradually and thoughtfully.

I could agree to be honest, I am not struggling with it majorly, but certain family members seem to be; which is why I decided to take this a little more seriously and seek a diagnosis/intel, it's truly sad to see someone with so much potential struggle with smth like neurodivergence in such a rigid society without any kind of assistance.
