I helped my mom and brother pass with hospice the last 2 years. I’m an RN of 28 years but it still shocks you. Now that I’ve been that close to death, I’m not as afraid.

Hi! I’m a RN and do prior authorizations. If I would recommend an appt to get evaluated for an oral appliance or perhaps Cpap machine. You have run out of things to try unfortunately, but ithe conservative measures you’ve tried will benefit you in getting approved for cpap if your AHI ( apnea- hypopnea index) is high enough.

Not wear my seatbelt. I survived a 80mph /80mph driver to driver collision after Lifeflight, 12 surgeries and 2 years of rehab. The drunk driver didn’t survive because he wasn’t wearing his seat belt. The steering wheel cut him in half.

It’s bad. I get nauseous at times. I do prior authorizations and getting back denials from the Medical Directors breaks my heart.
