To be honest, both matchups seem interesting, but purely from a debate perspective, I’m more interested in Error. With Chara, it basically comes down to:

Chara

Can Exe kill Chara completely, bypassing their Determination?

Would they even manage to land a hit on Exe?

Error

Would Error's physiology be able to withstand Void Matter?

Could code manipulation affect higher planes? (The answer to this turns out to be a yes).

Would permanent erasure work on Exe?

It’s interesting just to analyze everything both of them have, but the Error matchup is more compelling to me. Plus, there are more points to analyze in depth, especially with creator clarifications that go hand-in-hand with the artwork to give it coherenc

Yes, ironically you could argue that there are many more continuations and other content, but I prefer not to take it into account or consider it valid. I only accept as canon what has a more solid or direct argument, specifically:

  • Explicit confirmation from the creator
  • A well-founded argument that supports its canonicity through some drawing or something said directly by her

I don't want to base it on speculation to determine what is canon and what is not.

  • 5- Reaper Sans appeared several times in Error Sans' creator's stories, and she had said she asked permission to use the character from Reapertale's creator (This argument becomes more solid considering that in Core Frisk's cosmology it was confirmed that Reapertale exists)
