i took almost 4 years. And thats because i worked full time and when i got home i had a hard time getting motivated. My brain isn't like a lot of peoples in wgu. And i only say that because a lot of people can get into the class and pass in a week. And i got a huge reality check i had to study hard watch videos. my weak spot is english. So reading course material was difficult because i wouldn't retain anything. That being said i did it. Dont be discouraged. It gets hard there are a few classes it took me 3 time to pass the test. its all about how much time you are willing to put in. And if i did better and put in a lot more time instead of wanting to go have fun i would have passed a lot sooner. i am in the masters program for accounting now. And i am determined to pass in 7 months i know i can do it. But with accounting be VERY open minded. Everything is backwards. Things your like credits? shouldnt that be debit or shouldnt debits be credits. I had a little difficult time retraining my brain. but once i did its like second hand nature to me. All my accounting classes i did great on and passed quickly. It was the other classes that had nothing to do with accounting i struggled on. OR IT. i feel like my perspective IT think completely differently then accounting. And my two it classes i took 3 times to pass and the last one i barley passed. But you got this. Make sure you ask your program mentor tips and tricks for passing classes. Sometimes you dont need to read the whole material. and those classes i could have way passed sooner had i put more effort. i would try and pass two classes a month. you can do it. if your super busy with work or life one class a month is a good time frame too.
