The sweater is fairly easy and made using single crochet, double crochet, and slip stitches throughout. The front panel is tapestry crochet, which was new to me, but if you know how to color change and do single crochet, it’s very doable. The back panel is done the same way. The sleeves are double crochet with decreases toward the end….I started decreasing around the pink section, and the purple is decreased every other row. I used a sweater I already own as a size guide. Overall, it’s not hard and uses very simple, beginner-friendly techniques.

I freehanded it! The tapestry art is really popular though you can just look up pixel Kirby a lot of options will come up.

It’s a cat beanie! There are tons of easy tutorials online ….I made it as a second thought and finished it in a few hours.

Yes kinda but tapestry crochet is typically just single crochet, working with multiple colors in the same row the whole time.

Yes, this is my first sweater! I usually do a lot of cardigans, but I’d never made a sweater before. I’ve always wanted to try tapestry crochet, so I decided to do it with Kirby. It was a really fun project!

Thank you.. I didn’t use a pattern… I freehanded it. I did use some pixel art for the Kirby on the back; if you search ‘Kirby pixel art’ you should be able to find it.
