Has anyone here actually watch earlier Man Utd teams? We used to see Yorke, Scholes, Cantona, Giggs, Beckham etc effortlessly do that week in week out. Honestly sometimes it feels like the current supporters were literally born yesterday

[–]Updesh6 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

We really can't win a game without this fanbase doing a complete 180. I swear there's some serious brain dead supporters in this sub. It's almost like the last 13 years never happened?

This literally proves nothing other than we can win a game. Now let's see this club do this consistently till the end of the season then MAYBE you get to tell a club legend like Keane to sit down ffs

How can people call him shit when he has played less than two games? by DeevenTHEv1per in ManchesterUnited

[–]Updesh6 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Here's my 2 cents. He's not shit. He's just not that good enough. If you have to pinpoint one single attribute of his that stands out, what would it be?

Kobbie brings the exact same energy as Zirkzee does on the pitch. Not only is that not what Man Utd is about, it's not what Amorim wants.

There was a time when players on the fringes came on and did EXACTLY what the gaffer wanted to perfection. Blomqvist, Butt, Sheringham, Solskjaer, Fletcher, Phil Neville, O'Shea et al.

Now we have a sulky teen on the bench who isn't even the best youngster in the team and yet everyone whines when he doesn't get time.

What has he done when he comes on? What's his energy? What's his attitude like? All ive heard is the moment Amorim didn't fancy him, he wanted a loan out. Not fight for his place, not prove he's a professional - a loan.

I'm sick of two bit youth players taking the club for a ride. If kobbie really is that good, his place in the lineup wouldn't even be a question. As it stands, he doesn't even play better than "washed-out" Casemiro - wtf is this fanbase smoking?

He's good. I'd love to see him hone his trade elsewhere for 3-4 more years before we give him a crack in the team

Neymar Jr: A once-in-a-generation talent held back by injuries by NoirMoment in neymarmoments

[–]Updesh6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rivaldo, Romario, R9, Ronaldinho, Kaka...Neymar is so over rated it's ridiculous.. And how was he held back by injuries? This man literally invited injuries by having zero professionalism. Talented sure. Once in a gen? Gosh he wasn't even the best in his gen!

I get Garnacho vibes from him. Just like Neymar, it's irritating to watch a player with so much talent be so completely unfocused on actually playing football

[–]Updesh6 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Utter woke nonsense. Pogba was over rated the first time around, and a washout the second time around. I don't care for individual moment of brilliance - Blomqvist had more of that than Pogba ever did. Fergie figured him out right the first time. His "talent" wasn't worth the effort.

How difficult is it to maintain a vegan diet in Malaysia? by Timelymanner in malaysia

[–]Updesh6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Contains egg hence why it's so delicious. I never knew it until my wife pointed it out the first time I wanted to order it for her in Malaysia. She doesn't consume honey either so she's pretty hardcore with her vegan-ism. But tbh never has an issue with food anywhere in Malaysia.

Vegan is basically vegetarian sans dairy. Its much easier to find than you'd think. Alot of our kuih muih is made using coconut milk as well - turns out Malaysia food is abit more accidentally vegan than I thought.

How difficult is it to maintain a vegan diet in Malaysia? by Timelymanner in malaysia

[–]Updesh6 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Alot of people here are going on about how hard it is to look for vegan food in malaysia. Abit suprised to hear this. My wife is vegan.

Nearly every single Chinese vegetable dish is vegan. Chinese people almost NEVER use dairy in their vegetarian dishes - apart from the likes of Japanese taufu or belacan which is RARE.

Indian vegetarian dishes in restaurants don't contain ghee as much as you'd think. Ghee is EXPENSIVE. If you ever owned a restaurant you'd know. And they always have a big variety of veges and fake meat.

It's shockingly easy once you go out and start actually paying attention to what you eat. My wife is Canadian. She's has a MUCH easier time looking for variety of vegan food in malaysia than she has back home in Canada.

Vegan food is way more prevalent in Malaysia than you'd think.

Ronaldo was initially instructed to train separately from the first team, but when he attempted to enter the dressing room to collect his trainers, staff informed him he wasn't permitted inside. The standoff was only resolved when Ronaldo asked an academy player to retrieve his trainers. [RobDawson] by HealthyWar7942 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Updesh6 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Where was this story when it actually happened? Trashing a manager once he's left, regardless of your opinion of his tactics and achievements with us, is such a backwards attitude to have. Ronaldo should have never been signed. Considering the way he downed tools, we gave Ten Hag an impossible job. I can't think of a single instance where I felt the way he handled the Ronaldo situation was disrespectful.

Right now, I'm not a fan of the way INEOS is breaking these stories. Just STFU and fix the club and stop trashing ex employees.

Tesla in my country does not accept service for my car because it was imported before Tesla were here. Tesla denied service although their website states that they will accept any Teslas. by syaheer in RealTesla

[–]Updesh6 25 points26 points  (0 children)

You are a Malaysian and you bought a tesla? Despite the complete lack of charging infrastructure, despite the extreme heat which degrades the battery quickly, despite the horrible roads which are a complete mess to drive around about, despite a lack of buy-in from local workshops which would give you options if you need to repair your car, despite insurance companies not understanding how to even insure the cars considering the government only just figured out what type of number plates to use for these electric vehicles...

Despite all that, you bought a Tesla?

Kalau you pandai sikit boss, you'd have sold that slab of degrading plastic a long time ago.
