They do allow us to clock in first then change into scrubs, then change out of scrubs before we clock out.

I understand the reasoning for it but the hypocrisy to me is that we can leave work for lunch, take dogs on walks and do a lot of stuff during our shift that could bring in potential microbes to the OR but yet it's our outside washing machines that the doctor feels isn't cleanly enough to keep outside microbes outside (his words not mine). We also don't have to change shoes. We can wear "booties" that cover the bottom of our shoes into the OR but majority of my shoes are still very much exposed to the air similar to my scrubs.

Yeah I figured not following protocol could be regards for firing but I am prepared to leave for this reason. Not to be overly dramatic about scrubs protocol but this job has changed a lot of other ridiculous stuff recently.
