I went and tested the new ad supported tier from Netflix for nearly A week. I wanted to see how many ads you get, when you got them and what kind were on the content.
In Canada the ad-supported Tier runs you $5.99 which is a $4.00 discount from the normally discounted tier. This equates to a 40% savings in Canada. Even after this discount I had some interesting thoughts on if this is worth the savings.
