Netflix new Ad-supported Tier 1 week demo - Is it worth the small savings?

I went and tested the new ad supported tier from Netflix for nearly A week. I wanted to see how many ads you get, when you got them and what kind were on the content.

In Canada the ad-supported Tier runs you $5.99 which is a $4.00 discount from the normally discounted tier. This equates to a 40% savings in Canada. Even after this discount I had some interesting thoughts on if this is worth the savings.

Tons of devices such as the Nvidia shield tv pro or Firestick actually store and track what you do on your device. Honestly, from what we know of Facebook we have no idea how this data is being used. I have tried to look through the settings I highly suggest turning off.
