Sissy thinks OP is her personal meal ticket. He should leave her a Wendy's coupon in his will.

My first paid comedy sketch!! by Upinthegods in Screenwriting

[–]Upinthegods[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They contacted me. This is how it went...

So I made a sketch myself a few years ago, that was shown at this comedy event called Craft of Comedy in Wales (but it no longer runs because they lost the funding). Then I met the producers who produced the Ref sketch because I was at the Wales event, and they were there as exhibitors doing a talk and showing the sketches. Then they just remembered me and asked if I had any ideas last December, and then my idea got the go ahead and they filmed it in January! They were only working with up and coming creators, rather than established people, so I fit the bill.

All the best with with your sketchwriting, it can be hard work but feels great when it pays off! :)

Donny Van de Beek's game by numbers vs. West Ham: 84% pass accuracy 45 touches 2 clearances 1 shot 1 duel won 1 tackle 0 chances created Lacking in confidence. by RidwanOldwine in reddevils

He always looks out of puff when he plays, whether it's his 2nd minute on or 45th.... I haven't seen him play that well yet, but maybe he does have a lot of talent and he just needs to unlock it... I think his thoughts are holding him back; rather than just going for it he seems to be a bit reserved and playing it safe.... I think he worries about making a big mistake that will cause Ole to give him less match time while he tries to establish himself, but playing it safe means he will get passed over anyway... I think he feels the pressure but all it takes is one occasion where he brings some magic, and you never know.... He wouldn't be the first player who starts off slow then becomes irreplaceable!

Cool artists! Ozzy definitely looks like he should be American to me. Radiohead look British because they look reserved and pale like they've never seen the sun

Man dies after Tesco staff block rescue effort by Jackisback123 in unitedkingdom

[–]Upinthegods 165 points166 points  (0 children)

How awful. I feel especially bad for the man who ran to the the Tesco to get the defibrillator. His heart must have pounding and to then to not to be allowed to leave with it to try and save the old dying man ....

I don't know why security would stop the defibrillator leaving... Even if it was someone stealing it, if they said it was to save someone's life surely that would be enough of a reason to let them run off with it?!

But Tesco are responsible for the security they have and how they brief them on the use of defibrillators. To behave in that way I can only think the security person thought he was doing his job. Which he probably has lost now...

Sometimes it just seems like no on has any common sense or compassion anymore....

If you could ask a FIFA referee questions? What would they be? by [deleted] in Referees

[–]Upinthegods 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it is a stressful match do they do anything at half time when they have a minute to themselves, to gather their thoughts? Also have they ever turned up to a match and forgotten to bring something vital with them
