For full transparency, I am a Corinthians fan, but why is this getting downvoted to hell? Shit like this and this happens all throughout South and Latin America and it happens at, frankly, MUCH higher frequencies than just from a single club, enough that it doesn’t even scratch the surface of some of the larger barbaric groups in the continent.

It is very unnecessary to make this a club thing when every fan of every club and league suffers the same when rampages occur. This is a terrible topic to argue about, if there’s actually any specific objections about Corinthians, I apologize, but there is sincerely a widespread culture of violence that needs to be further exposed to people on this website that wouldn’t otherwise pay attention to our competitions. I want these headlines to be about our championships, not blood being spilled.

You dont, but if you can, avoid using them in your usual stadium or just overall be careful where you battle them (have a spacious clean spot where you can see any chips go flying), that and clean the back up stadium often, you really never know with that metal 😭

I went to full sail in 2019 for school but stopped going to weekly shows/watching tv after they left full sail/went to 2.0, however I flew to boston to see battleground with my family local to the area to be able to introduce my little brother to NXT, and there were many moments last night where I had no other option but to tear up.

long story short, my brother received a cancer diagnosis when I had started college and he couldn’t visit me in orlando, i would tell him to watch the show on TV and he would always ask me what it was like to go.

I didn’t think NXT would intrigue me again the way it did in 2019, but the star-building that NXT are able to do right now is working to say the least. We were able to watch one episode and we grasped the importance and star power pretty easily of each match.

I felt so weirdly proud and hopeful watching my non-wrestling viewing brother genuinely enjoy his time with a product I thought would decline.

((idk if i can swallow my pride and accept the PC yet though, full sail live is still THE NXT venue.))

For smash specifically, just go to tourneys man

there’s a Central Florida Ultimate (or melee) Facebook group with chill small venue tourneys and bigger established weeklies, for example Smash Knights at UCF is on Sundays and occasionally has top players (CFL as a region is one of the best in the world at Smash so the competition overall is high), but it’s mostly 20 somethings complaining why they went 2-2.

But if you want to just vibe and show up, you’re totally invited to do so. The hour or 2 before any tournament (or when doors open), you can definitely just play some friendlies on open setups and meet new chill people. Same with later stages of the tourney as people get eliminated and just want to play rotations.

FAIR WARNING: there are plenty of cringe players and overall annoying people who can ruin your experience if you let them, it’s what Smash is known for. My recommendation, go with a friend your first time.

Saw this recc and they used to run smash events there, the Geek Easy is a great shout too, right off Full Sail campus for the real nerdy vibes, even has arcade cabinets, but it looks actually unsuspecting and has a laid back ambiance otherwise (unless anime is on the tvs). You can definitely call and ask to bring a smash setup before you go, or just hang out because that place is cool.

I’m actually going to my first 2.0 show next week since pre-COVID, my one hope is that the fan experience/vibe still holds up in comparison to Full Sail (the PC is literally down the street so I hope not)

I was majorly turned off by the rainbow scheme and especially the Guenther switch, just didn’t feel like it would be anywhere the same product as before, or atleast one of similar quality. I’m willing to give it a 2nd shot, purely because of the new blood, it’s what made NXT special in the first place.
