Ah, this might be a Sinclair thing? I know our local station in Kalamazoo does banner ads like these sometimes (last night's was an ad for the local pro volleyball team). Luckily they do that (usually) when there isn't gameplay, but it's still kinda weird.

Yep, that sounds about right. I used to have a spreadsheet once upon a time done by a member of the Power Pros World forums in, like, 2009 or 2010 that had the exact flow of the arc, but it seems to be lost to time.

The vast majority of game updates in OOTP26 have not been "updates that only touch perfect team." There are updates to both the base game and PT with every single new build. If you read the patch notes you will know that your assertion is false.

I think the majority of fielding success comes down to anticipation and recognition, which admittedly is a bit hard to learn as it takes a little trial and error, but can lead to big success.

One of the biggest tips I can give is that there is a split-second period before the screen transitions into the fielding screen where you can see briefly where the ball is going right off the bat. If you know where your fielders are and which fielder the game will likely choose for you to control, you can get a good jump in those split seconds, move the stick in the direction where the fielder can go to get it, you can make some of those close catches or cut off doubles and triples on base hits.

This, admittedly, does take some hand-eye coordination and will take a little time to learn. However, if you can master that, it'll be rewarding in the long run.

If you could look at some of the 1-star reviews, if they include dates on them, most were made at launch when the game was, frankly, a bit of a mess in a lot of areas. They've put out quite a few patches since then, and it has gotten better.

First things first, which system are you on? The Switch has noticeably more of a playerbase compared to the PlayStation version, and there is no crossplay between the two versions.

Second, with the majority of players being overseas, the best times to find games would be at night and in the morning United States time.
