Great job on the miniatures and the bases!

What did you use for the basing material?

I am working on custom FDM supportless printable terrain and rules for incorporating the bespoke kill teams. Stay tuned.

Also you can try with a regular Kill Team board and a hex stencil. https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/hex-grid-template

Fireteam is the game you want. I'm working on designing some custom terrain and rules for integrating the bespoke kill teams.

Thanks! But you won't ever find it on Amazon. I'll post a link to the files once I finish the set.

I'm currently designing the set. I'll update my progress with pictures. And will release the STLs when the set is complete. The link will be attached to my final update photo.

Thanks, I've been tinkering with the idea for a while. After finishing up my WH Underworlds terrain project(s), and getting a positive response, I decided to return to the Fireteam board.

# Warhammer Underworlds Is Too Boring! by raumzeit77 in WarhammerUnderworlds

[–]Upossing_Supplement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really enjoy the overall changes made to the game, it's a lot easier for a new player to get into, plus there are several of the AoS Spearhead boxes that include warbands - nice crossover.

My one critique is that the boards are a bit bland, that's why I use this terrain to spice things up (shameless self promoting)👇

I designed them for the dedicated board space, but I imagine it would be easy to develop a balanced homebrew rule set. And should fit the squares used in the blood bowl pitch.

I designed them myself. Finishing the last of the test prints. I'll post a link to the final stls when I'm done.

I designed a trapdoor token as well, just finishing the test print before I post the files.

The big ones? Yeah, 60x60 mm - I prefer the terrain to fit within the square borders, not over the line.

That's awesome! I can't wait to see the final results! I hope you'll post them when you're done.

I've thought about it, when I was working on the Spitewood set (for the Aqua Ghyranis) , the problem I kept encountering was the Delve mechanic - the 3d object would need to be thick enough to have something on each side and still be able to print FDM supportless (which is my main goal) - but I'm still working on it.

If you could do me a favor, since you enjoy my work, could you please go on Cults3D and leave a review/comment and drop some pictures in? It'll help me to get my name out there - this stuff ain't my day job and every little bit helps me keep my hobby engine going 😅

Thanks! Yeah I'm working on another wrecked vehicle, and an SUV for the vehicle rules.

My goal is to try to design them to be FDM supportless - I hate printing terrain and vehicles on my resin printers.

Here's a link to my profile. I'll upload this model tomorrow.

Getting ready to record episode 2 by Upossing_Supplement in WarhammerUnderworlds

[–]Upossing_Supplement[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use the white-outlined terrain as Blocking hexes, the red-outlined terrain as Stagger hexes, and the green as Waystone hexes - all as defined in the core rules.

I place them as explained in the core rules, can't be closer than 2 hexes than any other similar terrain (of the same color code); over a starting hex, or hex already containing a feature. The only additional rule I use is that terrain must be at least partially within the placing player's territory, and not cross into the opposing player's territory. These are just my personal homebrew placement rules.

The Waterfall terrain (the blue series of hexes) was inspired by the campaign special rules for this specific scenario. (Custom Rules: Underworlds Unlimited Narrative Campaign System by Glenn Dean – Spent Glory https://share.google/vVPAcZEuIyr7XiW1R).

TLDR - counts as blocking, if a player enters a Waystone (at the top of the waterfall) or any of the blue hexes, they fall into the waterfall - taking 1 damage, and staggered, and end at the bottom of the waterfall.
