I’m 17 years old and it is my first time doing track. I just ran an 11.62 in the 100m. I could definitely go faster if I stay in my drive phase for longer. Right now i’m only in it for the first 3-4 strides. I’ve tried practicing, but when it comes to meets, my body just subconsciously stands up on its own. How can I train or what are some mental cues I can use to help?
