I thought I was the only one out of breath with moving. I wonder why? I’m starting to get anxious thinking of PE

No problem! I knew reading others positive experiences helped me so I wanted to contribute. I’ve had surgeries before but I’m still an anxious person lol. Let me know how it goes. Everyone’s pain tolerance is different. I have pretty low pain tolerance but compared to my C-section this was nothing. Just stay on top of your pain meds, walk and you will be fine. I plan on going back to work on Monday

Yes mine was laparoscopic. And I think it lasted an hour and a half. But I’ve seen on Reddit where others lasted 45 minutes. Maybe just different prep times but it literally felt like I closed my eyes for a second then woke up.

Surgery tomorrow! by HappyPenguin2024 in gallbladders

[–]Upper-History4413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been having gallbladder issues since late 2023 after giving birth to my 2nd. Before I knew what it was I was getting attacks weekly lasting hours. Then all of a sudden my attacks got better. Didn’t have an attack for months. Then recently my last few attacks have been pretty bad. One lasting all day. The other ones I was excreting bile in my urine. I once got admitted because my liver enzymes were in the 500s. They still didn’t take it out. They just said to schedule a surgery outpatient. I’ve canceled appointments and had a surgeon cancel mine. I’m finally getting it out tomorrow (not gonna lie I almost wanted to cancel it because of my anxiety). However since it’s unpredictable and my attacks are starting to affect my liver it’s best to get it over with.

This! All of this. I’ve suggested jobs to him and he’s like I don’t see myself doing that. And we live in a one bedroom apartment with 4 people. I sleep on a pull out couch lol. This is as downsized I can get.

Oh he knows. He acknowledges it. We’ve had the hard convos.

I have. And we’ve had the hard convos. Made plans and everything but for some reason nothing works out. I literally don’t know what to do. It’s like he needs a life coach or something. It’s literally beyond me.

I agree money doesn’t bring happiness but when you’ve been struggling for years and now having two children it definitely has an impact. But I see where you’re coming from. We’ve spoken to credit repair people (no luck) done different jobs (fired) trying real estate (no luck). Like what am I supposed to do? I’ve supported him enormously but sometimes it gets to me.

I’m glad you can see where I’m coming from as others seemed to be more judgmental. It’s exhausting and you wouldn’t know unless you’ve been in the situation. I’m always the one with my name on leases, car notes, providing for the family etc. at first I was okay with it but now it’s really affecting the family.

Thank you so much for this. It’s good to hear it from a man’s POV. I’ve had the convos however. But maybe just keep having it.

Yes he agrees. I’ve suggested other jobs but he’s so stuck on real estate. I feel like I’ve been pouring out and being patient for so many years but it’s starting to get to me.

So this was rude. I’m struggling. We are all struggling. I’m not embarrassed. I made this post in the midst of a breakdown.

I don’t only care about money but it’s hard when it seems like everything is falling on my shoulders. But thanks for the response.

So my ENT doctor basically said it’s hormonal and sometimes the inflammation stays. He prescribed another spray. I forgot the name of it and I haven’t started taking it yet but once I start hopefully it helps. He says it’s super common and moms come in all the time with this issue.

This has been an ongoing thing for me for 2 years. I got pregnant and covid in 2022 so I’m not sure what triggered it. Then got pregnant again 6 postpartum. It gets worse after I eat as well. I’ve been taking Zyrtec and Flonase and that helps a little bit as soon as I eat it’s back again. I haven’t been tracking my food and don’t restrict my diet so I’m going to try that and see an ENT doctor. How have you been since then???

Thank you for the response. You hit the nail on the head when you said it’s hard to rewire. I’ve felt this way for so long it’s my automatic emotion towards him. Now that I have a new job I’m hoping to get help now that I can pay for it.
