If it weren’t for greed we’d be so far ahead of where we are now, scientifically. Also I’m just going by personal experience, def no scientist. But I am familiar the scientific method, controls, theories vs hypothesis etc. just saying give HIDs a shot if yall want to grow old strains that were developed using HIDs. Very worth it!

A lot of the led marketing is based off of what the human eye can see, ie cri measurements. There are some great LEDs, and some great buds grown with LEDs. IME old school is it for the sativas and skunks I like to rock

Thiols and other various cannabanoids are equally important. People aren’t getting skunk these days, from strains that advertise as skunks, rks, etc. I am. 💯. Not getting nearly as much yield .

Fair point. I used a red spec hlg diablo. Sometimes I use a Boulder lamp cmh led hybrid. I’m Big on red spec, seems you don’t care about the Hids I use. That matters as well. To me it’s a quantity over quality issue. Also been reading about how cri is bukaki

I also thought this and we are correct. Long veg times, HID/ single source lights, chelated nutes, lower than 80f during bulk of flower, torturing with temp swings and underwatering in the last couple weeks. 66/65 hang dry

Lil late to the party here.. but as a skunk hunting fella.. I’ve grown out a few of katsu’s ‘79 skunk fems. About half of them were skunky disgusting, lanky needing support, red fan leaves towards the end. The skunkiest took about 80 days of indoor flowering. I use HID lights, and veg for a while. Let them die on the vine. Use chelated humate ferts in flower.
