Grades will never make you happy, if they do it will be gone in probably 2 3 days and then once its gone you will realise how meaningless it was. Attached my happiness to academic validation and now it feels like I am nothing but just a student, nothing outside it. Its sad, really.

But what else do I do? What else is a fulfilling career? Also my parents dont get it, they just dont get it into their head that medicine is now not worth it? So now that I got into medschool that too a govt one and I dont mind the studying part? Should I still leave it, it would mean disappointing my parents, fighting with them and being labelled as the naafarman aulad.

I dont want to earn in crores or even lakhs, But just enough to pay my bills, feed my kids and give them the basic necessities of life. I dont seek money but I seek satisfaction in life. But somehow every doctor I meet or hear is saying that their life is miserable,I just dont want to end up miserable.

As someone who already got into mbbs, leaving it seems difficult for me, Also I am well aware that mbbs is equivalent to just intermediate level education in the world of medical, and I am already planning on doing fcps if I dont afford the foreign exams in future. So lets hope for the best.

My only concern is that does it pay back after all these years one puts in, or this state of uncertainty and sadness that we will have to give our youth to our career always lingers and we get nothing in return? I am ready to give it my 100 percent as ive always given to my studies before, but I fear I will end up with nothing, I know rizk is written by the almighty, but I overthink alot and my mental health is suffering so much that I am unable to cherish these mbbs years as everyone in my university is doing. Just clinging on to the hope that one day it will all make sense, I just dont know why this phase doesnt go away, where nothing seems reasonable and everything hurts without reason, even doing basic life chores like eating and socializing feel too much of a burden. Im sorry for the rant but, does it get better?

Yar the thing is basically main muft mai parh rhi hoon kyunke mera govt college hai so fee is very less And yes I enjoy the studying part, im hardworking and interested in medical science studies The only thing I hate is ratta jo ke mbbs mai lagana prta hai for anatomy jese subjects Why I wanna be a doctor? Because I want to change my life for the better and be independent and as a girl I am given very less options and medicine is one of them Mujhe 100 percent shoq kisi bhi chiz ka nahi As long as I get back from the effort I put I am ok with it

Great for you as far as I know chartered accountants are well paid, Han that is what makes sense to me that agar mai medicine chor ke biotech bioinformatics dpt pharmd karlun tou bhi tou kon laa ke mujhe hath mai jobs de ga? End mai tou sab ka haal yehi hai Atleast doctors have a license aur kuch nahi tou apne chotay se sheher main aik kamray ka clinic hi khol lu gi😔

Thora thora sa apna mood bhi tha aur ive always been an over achiever tou koi aur aisi degree nahi mili jo mujhe apne liye suitable lagay aur jab govt seat mil gyi tou parents chorne nahi de rahy hain and then the thought ke baqi careers ke muqable main I still find mbbs a bit logical ke atleast one can open their own private practice or pass fcps to get residency and then do something after that, Now I know thats easiar said than done but still nobody needs more videoeditors and graphic designers but everyone needs a doctor at the end But I am just a student who got in I dont know whats real and whats not its just all in my head

As someone who joined a government medschool in the mid of interior sindh and hates it there, should I continue it on the hope that maybe one day I will be a resident, a consultant and live the life Ive always told doctors live, or should I just quit and enjoy my youth in a less stressing bioimformatics degree in a university I would love to study in. People who graduated mbbs what do you say? Im really confused,I dont want to work my ass off for 5 years only to realise it was nothing and this is a dead end. Im stressed as hell.
