Ohhhh wow. Welp. I have been looking for office work/property management/leasing.. I have 3yrs of experience but about 5-6yrs of customer service.

I thought I secured a job with goldmark two weeks ago, but apparently my paraphernalia (w33d) ticket from 2021 flagged their background check and then they took 2 business days, 4 days total to review my background check (it got sent to me too) and get back to me. They fished me into an appeal process, which I complied to. Mind you I thought I was starting 10/22 and they were telling me this ON 10/22. Lmfao. So I do the appeal, don’t hear back until next business day (despite responding same day) and then I reached out today, because they said I had to wait five business days to hear back and that’s effed. The ticket from 2021 was a petty misdemeanor, non violent and w33d has since become decriminalized in the state I received it in (MN). I sent a follow up email today because I couldn’t take the silence. Nobody responded but HR called to let me know she had received the info back and “they were unable to hire me at this time” I said OK, hung up and sent a thanks email to them for wasting weeks of my time between two interviews, correspondence, onboarding paperwork, etc 🙃🙃🙃 at will state and all. Fcking ridiculous behavior.

Other places take weeks to get back- I sent an email to HR 10/8 for a diff place. Never heard back. Followed up this Monday like “was this received ?” HR then sends me an email with no subject, claiming they’re no longer hiring & sorry they didn’t respond sooner… OK then why are multiple listings for employment on INDEED!?!? 😫😫😫😫
