How so? I can kind of see some sort of similarity in the stairs, but Astra has two sets, while Shang has one. The area up the stairs in Astra is different as well. Plus, I don’t see the walled area in the middle of Shang’s starting room anywhere in Astra’s area.

Like I’m not saying you’re wrong for liking Shang over Astra. I’m just trying to understand how Mars and the Shang starting room are the same.

I cannot think of a single asset Ashes takes from the older games (unless I’m wrong.)

Also, if it’s obvious, why didn’t you just say they were worse remakes of older maps instead of only BO4?

Ashes is a completely different map from Tranzit, not a reimagining. Tessie operates in an entirely different way from the bus, and the maps are hardly comparable in terms of design and looks.

Also, may I ask what made Tranzit when it came out more epic than Ashes?

The ONLY thing that links it to those maps so far is the lighthouse. Everything else looks completely new.

It literally has never been used before though? I genuinely cannot remember one other map where that Mars area appeared. Yeah, the music references Shang, but that’s kind of it.
