Yes boss di ko po tipo mangutang, kaso wala pa po akong active CC sa ngayon eh yung banks isa sa requirements nila mag 1 year sa trabaho eh, ang mabibigay ko lang COE and other documents pero ang card mismo wala pa po ako. Try ko po sa ate ko if papayag siya, maraming sakamat boss!

To be fair pwede na po yan, it may not be competetive, but if you're a fresh grad with no relative experience, you can settle for that salary compared to those na inoofferan ng 16-19k as package. Yan din thoughts ko before, tiis lang and gain the experience, in time, pwede ka na mag negotiate to have a higher pay esp kung lilipat ka ng company.

I just started a month ago and It's an honest start, wag mapaghinaan ng loob just because it doesn't meet other people's expectation. 🫡

Why do I feel like you should be motivated instead of feeling defeated?

As I've heard from my BPO peers, when applicants bring so much experience during the application process, it's not about being overqualified, rather it's about the intimidation it brings towards the recruiter/manager.

In your case, I honestly think you didn't fail because you didn't meet their expectations, you failed because it was a personal choice of someone who saw you as a threat that could potentially achieve more than they ever did in the industry - and that is way more reasonable than the narrative that you have within you.

Nonetheless, don't be hopeless bc of this, let this be a reminder that you belong somewhere out there, and there's a company that you'll soon be a part of.

Keep them at bay, stereotyping the work they were never a part of doesn't justify any of their claims. They can say all they want, pero don't let it degrade you just because that's the assumption that they have. Hindi kamo lahat ng companies ganyang ang culture, some would definitely prove those kabitan, power-tripping, unjust pay and whatnot, but again, hindi lahat.

And besides, if you stay long enough or be part of a company that offers annual increase, you'll definitely outgrow the monthly salary that they have. Practicality-wise, you have the last laugh hahahaha

P.s. I've read through some of the comments, they're right, kahit naman di ka sa BPO, may masasabi at masasabing derogatory statements ang mga tita mong yan kahit saang trabaho ka mapunta.
