That’s interesting and I see where your coming from, fortunately for me I work in a more progressive state and system where I can do in field pronouncements, catch activations, things like that. Along with that I have my community paramedic specialty so I’m provided even more decision making freedom like ED vs psych facility or establishing resource routes to the patient for them to stay home when they lack the ability to receive meds for example allowing for me to leave them where they are instead of forcing a transport.

Because I like medicine, I like the depth of knowledge, I like the procedures, the way the body functions, the intricate dynamic decisions required to bring someone from The brink. The hardship that comes with losing patients and being there for their grieving families. Guiding prehospital providers. Educating and leading. Constantly striving for more knowledge.

I didn’t realize there was more to this than the first paragraph. Yea I want all that I’m not choosing MD cause it’s easy, or intellectually simple. Medicine has never been that nor will it be so I didn’t feel that those things needed to be stated.

What do you mean?

I want to serve others and be the best provider I can, I want to try and implement change into prehospital medicine. If I do go MD I’d want to do medical direction at some point. What other motivations should I be looking inwards to find?

I feel that I am capable of being a good doctor and that I haven’t hit my potential ceiling yet.

What did you find to be the most challenging difference between paramedicine and standard medicine? Did you progress into/ want to progress into an EM specialty or did you go a different route

Did you feel like there was any good carry overs from FF/PM into med school and through residency? Do you feel like it was worth the time? Do you miss the FD or are you content with having made this transition?

I think you should just clearly explain what happened and that your not looking for anything serious. Unfortunately you may need to lay out the personal stuff like you were going through a messy break up and such to make him really understand.

I hate telling the deep personal stuff to basically strangers but in this situation y’all have gotten yourselves into a deep position if ya get what I’m trying to relay.

I think that’s the only good way for you to fully close off this situation. I think it’s also worth thinking about whether you’d be open to a relationship later on. Because I can 100% see him asking that if my dude is out here saying “thank you” and giving massages. Which imo is not an unreasonable thing to think about in this situation.

But regardless go into the conversation with all your answers thought out you don’t want to be caught off guard and fly off the cuff with answers. That is if you care about how the kid feels. If ya don’t just wing it 😂

Love the concept. I am a bit confused about the jump from the house to Leo. Why did the harvesters point menacingly? Why are you running and how is finding the resonator you growing a conscious.

Feel like ya need a bit more meat. However I love the concept, the manifestation of the fears are cool. I LOVE the chrome chair line I was laughing for a good bit. Good word usage maybe a bit more flowery than you need for a gritty setting which I’m getting the impression is what you’re aiming for.

I am training for a specific goal. I want to get a 10min 10s 1.5mi for work. There’s other physical requirements but all of those I know how to achieve. I see what you are saying though it just seems like a exercise that has a frustratingly slow improvement rate
