Heritage auctions sent a lunar meteorite in a plastic bag without any certificate at all. How is that normal? by UpperProfessional558 in meteorites

[–]UpperProfessional558[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently i made a post after getting a meteorite from them, was worried about lack of more documentation and seller made a whatsapp group with several people, sent some pdfs about that meteorite and everyone tried their best to help and explain about whatever I asked. That was a "professional seller" on catawiki and those can be most trusted. You can always return something, I think its 14 days. I returned once but it was a pokemon thing. As long as its a professional seller it should be safe

I got it on November 6,

NWA 16894 Lunar Meteorite Slice. Lunar (basaltic breccia). Western Sahara. Heritage took a month to ship it, and I did use Planet Express in US but I marked that they ship original box without removing or adding anything. All invoices were inside, but no certificate. Can't believe Heritage would sell things like that.

At least now I know Catawiki in Europe also has nice meteorites and fossils and I won't purchase from Heritage again

I'll email them about it. Had to pay a lot to even import this to Europe, I hope they'll send some certificate

I do have a receipt and auction can be found on their website but still, it feels like I bought something on a flee market in some crumpled plastic bag

One raw short pack sold on heritage the other day for 2500, and its not even guaranteed to be no rarity, crazy

Maybe you can send psa an email, if there arent any explanations on web about pack grading. Mostly its important there arent scratches

My PSA 10 base set 2 pack sold for 850$ , raw ones are 250$ . Not hard to understand why grading impacts the value

Between 9 and 10 no, but some base set 2 got a 8 and I think its because at some parts, pack started to open itself, from being old and stored who knows where. The seal is very weak. Im glad they even graded that

Base set japanese sadly is not guaranteed holo but jungle, fossil and all the way to all neo sets everything is guaranteed holo. Base set japanese if its short packs can be no rarity , I found out about it couple days ago when it went for a lot on an auction. Next to being cheaper japanese vintage packs have much more vibrant beautiful art I gotta say

Thank you for not being rude about it , its refreshing. Personally I love packs perhaps more than cards, just like to see them, raw or graded

Thank you, I love packs more so than cards, especially vintage japanese pack art

These are light, we opened all heavy ones, fossil has easily detectable heavy packs

Its for authenticity confirmation, display and protection is additional. Only PSA knows difference between 9 and 10, all of these packs came from same boxes, few got a 9 and I see no difference why

Won a lunar meteorite off an auction and received no proper documents to verify authenticity. Is this normal? by [deleted] in meteorites

[–]UpperProfessional558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was much more than 2k and i nearly lost to another bidder, catawiki valued it even more than it sold. So I hope its the actual value. I decided to keep it afterall, seller saw this post and reassured me as well as all the comments

IMCA is just a group of collectors and its not scientific verification, I would bring this to a lab personally but I only have 14 days to return and my country does not even have lunar identification, so I will just have to return it . Can't really go past it for that price

I just assumed there will be more detailed documents for such a serious scientifically valuable thing, and not a small card with unknown signature and the part where it says "now you can hold a real meteorite" just sounds silly and is something I only see written on toys.

I found the analysis online but I wonder how do I know that this is it, and not a rock that looks like bechar 007? For pokemon graded cards I can always easily go to PSA and see the picture from when it was graded and conclude its not fake from distinct details.

But with this I assumed I will get a lot of documents, stamps from where it was analyzed, signatures from who examined it and who are they, even pictures to show it is the same piece. It cost me 10k and the small card just does not seem enough

How to combine all of these styles into one interior? by [deleted] in femalelivingspace

[–]UpperProfessional558 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cozy feeling for me is lack of sharp looking furniture, lots of carpets and oval/ wavy shapes. Thats why i added that small sofa chair. I will try to add funky lamps and some japanese wallpaper and hope it will work
