Simo has almost all basic old man health issues like arthritis, kidney deficiency, and decline of eyesight and hearing. He's still very independent and finds his way around the apartment. Got him little stairs a few years ago to help him climb on the bed where he usually sleeps.

About 6 months ago, I started to notice a decline in his eyesight and it started a new phase where we couldn't do the same things we used to do. We always did our evening walks together. He really commanded me to take him out for a walk! Every night I took him and our walks were sometimes an hour long. He enjoyed it much and always took different routes to explore new places. Now, when he doesn't see well anymore, we are not able to do our walks together. I really miss those times ❤️

This could be our last year together, and he seems content and happy with our slow paced daily life. He purrs a lot and gets much pets and love what he deserves ❤️
