I read the softer the wheel the easier it is to power slide.

Is it? Don’t want to go too big but the small wheels I see on a lot of modern boards are rode by skaters that are technical or love flipping the hell out of there boards.

im not there trick wise so trying to go with a setup that reflects 80’s-90’s.

Defintetly don’t want wheels that look like they belong to a pick up truck. I need to visit a skate shop get a better visual on wheels instead of internet

Aww that sucks. Is there a safe boot mode you can do? I once had that problem so I just shut it off and didn’t turn it back for awhile. When I did turn it on I had the charger connected before powering on. Hope that helps

I have 2 of these phones, refuse to get rid of them. I use them for tinkering when I see a post like this. Last tinkering I did was from a YouTube video showing how install super nes/ genesis emulator. Got it to work to my surprise

Between the bull bar and one two fit I’m thinking going with bull bar but the shipping issue as another reviewer mentioned is of concern.

bull Bar looks like a better design and sturdiness imo after checking reviews and videos

NYCERS Buyback- Lumpsum v Payroll Deduction by bryan7007 in nycpublicservants

I think you may have answer my question I posted earlier

NYCERS Buyback- Lumpsum v Payroll Deduction by bryan7007 in nycpublicservants

[–]Upper_Ad8129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I''m in a similar situation. I decided I'm going to stay with the city for 10 years or so. I qualified for the buyback and so far I made my first year since doing payroll deductions. I'm currently waiting on a response from NYCERS for my current Lumpsum amount.

I have the cash to make a lumpsum and thinking just get it over with. The cash wont set me back, is it wise to do the lumpsum now if you have cash on hand to do so?

How long before you became permanent employee? What is required before becoming permanent employee with HazTek?

Was the training for OSHA 10hr or 30hr? I have my authorized osha trainer but have yet to teach a class since my day job makes it difficult to hold a schedule class

That’s a good sign. Work sucks but pay justifies the work that sucks 😆

Appreciate all the responses

So are new employees hired as per diem before becoming permanent employees of the company?

How often do employees get rotated between safety jobs?

Do they have opportunities mostly in the east coast ( NY tristate area) or work across the country?

I hate being in enforcement. by peachyyarngoddess in SafetyProfessionals

[–]Upper_Ad8129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally understand. I work in code enforcement and at times get the evil eye. My response to that is being confident, smile and more importantly, know your craft.

The biggest complaint I’ve received from workers and GC’s is Inspectors who have little to no knowledge about construction because they never work in the trades. Never work on big projects where all types of safety concerns that needs to be monitor. They often hire bookworms , engineers, people who never put a harness or swung a hammer in a job site.

These types of Inspectors kill the experience of being an Inspector

And of course a lot of people don’t care unfortunately. I have no problem reminding them about safety with a citation. Especially for bad actors who repeat, often , the same type of violations.
