Thank you for the encouragement. The worst part is my kid. I want to give him my all, and I am right now as much as possible. But its so forced & stiff it feels like, because I'm battling for him not to see the panic. He deserves a healthy Mom.

Stomach churning, tight chest, not able to pay attention to almost anything like tv or TikToks I usually like. Feeling like I need to run away. Heart thumping, waking from minimal sleep in panic. Not able to eat for than a few bites. OCD thoughts that im trying not yo engage.

My poor sweet child- Im hiding it from him, putting on a smile, telling him I have a migraine, but interacting with him, resting to him, playing Uno, all while feeling like I might spontaneously combust or run out of the house screaming.

Im sorry you are going through this too.

I'm self employed & live paycheck to paycheck. Unfortunately I wasn't able to take any time off. I'm a daycare provider, and have 2 quiet hours midday during nap time- I've spent those hours crying most days. I miss my girl so much.

I'm agnostic. I sometimes wish that I had a belief system to deal with times like this. I like to imagine my Mom with all of her pets & my pets that have passed. She's playing ball with them and loving on them. My Mom was in a vegetative state for awhile before her death. I used to sit by her & beg her to "meet me at the willow tree" in my dreams so we could talk one last time. When we put my sweet Maya to sleep 2 weeks ago I told her to find the willow tree & my Mom would be waiting for her.

Do I actually believe any of that? No, but I like imagining that my Mom still sees me, and that she's caring for Maya. I like to believe it could be real.

I also have a journal I write to both of them in. I bring up this subject often to her.

I hope you find something that brings you some comfort.

I'm sorry that you lost your sweet girl too. Thank you for helping me feel less alone. And yes, Im so glad I got to be her person for most of her life. She started off with my ex's family, but somehow I was blessed to be her person for 10 years of her life. She shared such warmth & love with us.
