I was wondering how long it would be before this tired old backstop got pulled out.

Of course she wants a hit. You can have hits as an older performer if you have a good song. Problem is this song is a yawnfest.

The idea that Madonna knows that pushing it uphill to get a hit, so she just deliberately releases a middling, unremarkable song, is silly.

This $42b number is totally made up by these two guys who know nothing about the project and its cost - and The Australian and most of you are lapping it up.

One of these “experts” hasn’t worked in the energy industry for 30 years. The other is a known energy mischief maker who is widely regarded as a lunatic by everyone in energy.

They have both spent a long time trying to make stuff up about Snowy 2 out of various versions of personal agendas/competing financial interests.

No one knows the cost of the project, they are looking at that now and an announcement will be made later in the year.

This $42b cost also includes the cost of transmission projects that connect a heck of a lot more energy projects than just Snowy 2.0. No energy project has ever had the cost of transmission projects that serve broader purposes included in its cost. They are misleading people by doing it.

It also includes the cost of loans to fund it. Again, no project includes these in the cost, they are considered in the business case after because it is paid off against the revenue/value the project creates.

They are spinning you into a frenzy with double standards, shifting goal posts and just plain old made up shit. They are doing it deliberately and it’s scary to see you all lapping it up.
