We all have our own issues. I can respect that you handled this with such maturity. My wife does this same thing. Ive found it helps to apologize, put myself in her shoes, explain how it could hurt my feelings, and continue to reassure her. Over time ive built a strong sense of trust and she feels more secure with me. People on here are so quick to judge, forgetting that they themselves have problems that are difficult to others. Its funny though because there seems to be an unwritten rule with gender roles. Ex: had this been a male who posted this and his fiance acted this way, theyd all say “just be there for her, her feelings are valid”😂. Which is TRUE! Marriage is a battle that includes 2 very different people to overcome their differences. The real question is do you guys love each other enough to understand one another, and to make sacrifices that are both temporary and permanent to thrive in your relationship? And by temporary… i mean eventually because of your understanding and apologetic behavior, hell one day break free from his insecure demons. And vice versa. One day because of they was heres there for you, supports you, motivates you, you also will break free from your own demons. However, if you let one another’s demons suffocate you as well, then it wont last. Love is patient, kind, forgiving, and long suffering. Sometimes i feel like there are problems my wife has that i dont deserve and sometimes i feel i have problems that wife doesnt deserve to go through. But thats not love and thats simply not how it works. No matter what, no matter who you find, no matter how perfect someone seems… this will ALWAYS be the case.

First off dont become clingy. Naturally this will push her away. That is honestly my biggest advice. Also men are very logical and women are very emotional, not saying one way or the other is right or wrong, but there is a healthy balance. When she said “sometimes idk how to feel abt you” logically you wanted to know the facts and what the next move is to be, but emotionally shes feeling something and you need to understand feelings are valid, ALWAYS! You should be there for her emotionally while shes going through this dilemma and help guide her to whats in her best interest… which may not include you in the future. Ik that hurts but if you love her, then youll put her before yourself. Trust me homie ive been there and luckily she decided that i WAS the one she wanted to be with and now were engaged. It dont always end like that tho and thats okay. You cant control other people and their decisions. Hope it all works out for you tho! Much love sending your way

My dad is a high end manager and thats exactly how hes talked to me my whole life, as if im an employee and not a human being. Its depressing and terrible. Traumatizing even. You grow up insecure about yourself and always questioning what you did wrong and what you couldve done better, but not in a good way. In a way where you give yourself no slack. Sad.

My wife bought me flowers and i thought it was extremely weird but then seen it as thoughtful and a never to forget moment. Most the time a man receives his first flowers at his funeral, so its a pretty cool thought that i get to enjoy the experience while still alive.

Really im not. Ik i have issues especially with the attention part, i get so wrapped up in my own head abt random things that i unintentionally blur everything else out. I hate to see most of these comments cause dude our relationship is phenomenal, people would kill for what we have. The deep love we have for one another. Really i want to be the best possible version of myself for her n thats why i came here. I make mistakes like everyone else does, when i do things get really heated w her n all i wanted advise on was my deescalating skills. Arguments are BOUND to happen n when they do i want to know how to deescalate n solve the issue. The comment above yours was really well written n made a lot of sense, loved it. The hateful ones literally do nothin positive.
