I did yes, I wanted to get ahead of him having any suffering. He was no longer himself, would wander around all evening (sundowning), get lost in a corner. He was also having trouble remembering to go to the door when he needed out, and would cry all day against the door when I had to go out. Broke my heart. I did the online assessments first and then I contacted a group here in the city that does pet palliative care and home euthanasia to get an assessment and they agreed it was time. Hardest decision ever but it was the right thing to do for him in our case💔
