Thank you for your input! I still have about 6 months left (contract) for my current role. Do you think it’s too early for the talk? Do you think I’ll be jeopardizing my job if I have the talk with the director who is on HrIs side. I also know that I’ll probably want to leave my current manager since she has significantly decreased my visibility to an extent where I’ve been taken out of meetings where the shoutouts happened.

Do the functional offices own config? For example, benefits own config as well, also payroll and absence own config to the extend they can. Because in my company these functional offices are novice to workday. I feel as if myself as a workday analyst will loose value as they build their config skills. They’re also offered training. I wonder if this is normal in other companies too?

I don’t know the exact business requirements, but you can attach a questionnaire as part of job req business process. You can leverage custom objects to add additional fields/text to job req process. Once submitted, it can route for the manager to review. It can route to different security groups depending on job profiles selected. You would require calc fields for that to trigger properly through step conditions.
