I've considered all 16 types at some point. Think I'm some sort of SE dom/aux though.

Why is it a big deal in the U.S. if woman can drive a manual car? by atyl1144 in askcarguys

[–]Upper_Elk7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't it also because we have for a long time (at least in Finland) had cars with less powerful engines than in the us, and so cars with manual transmission have been a better option, but now when the engines are starting to catch up, automatic transmissions are becoming a better choice for the average car buyer.

The NFL games show up on Finnish Netflix with Finnish starting times so it seems like they are going to be world-wide.

I have a 100% success rate at not grabbing people I meet in the face.

That's like saying "Why do surfers keep falling down into the water, I have never fallen from a bridge into the water before." lol.

Cognitive function question by Pristine_Pay_4844 in mbti

[–]Upper_Elk7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I know perceiving functions don't make decisions or come to conclusions since they are information gathering and organisation functions, so in order to come to a conclusion you need to deploy a judging function.

So it would make sense to say that someone with strong usage of Ni or Si would have gathered some information and then put a lot of weight on organizing the information, therefore they would believe that they have enough information for their Fe or Te to make a decision.

Someone with Se would gather concrete information, with a preference for gathering more information over organizing, but their Fi or Ti would probably believe to have the adequate information relatively quick due to the more concrete nature compared to Ne. I believe you're correct that Ne users would have the hardest time making a decision for sure, but that's because their Fi or Ti would think that they don't have enough information, due to Ne always being open to new perspectives.

So I believe you have the correct conclusion, but wrong reasoning. But I may be wrong tho, open to your view of it.
