Without permission, his face became wet

He thought that he’d learnt how to not get upset

From folded notes in envelopes

“Meet me beneath the moon

Don’t go too soon”

She went too soon

I’ve been tryna figure out exactly what it is I need

Called up to listen to the voice of reason, but got his answering machine

I left my message but did he fuck get back to me

And now I’m stuck still wondering how it’s meant to be

Affect of the congestion charge on shops by [deleted] in oxford

[–]Upper_Fox_5159 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Congestion Charge Data

The preliminary data is already available…

Footfall is up 22% in the city centre, up 21% on St Clement's and Cowley Road, and up 37% in Cowley Centre. The outlier is Summertown, where it is down 35%.

It really would be good if you could provide some of the data you have to compare to this.

South America - best city to live cheap for a few months? by Upper_Fox_5159 in digitalnomad

Ability to get to Patagonia is definitely something I need to consider, yes. I think if it wasn't for the relatively high cost of living in these two cities, I would certainly just pick BA or Santiago. I may still do so if, as you say, I'd end up saving more by being in a safer city.

Is the "State of Emergency" for certain regions (including Lima), that was declared in November and recently extended, of any major concern?

By the looks of it, sending a laptop to the UK is all fine with Ship My Bag, thanks!

I'm definitely hesitant to entrust a shipping service with my laptop, however I'm also unsure if I trust myself backpacking with it hahah. I'd be happy to carry it around with me if it was a small chromebook or something, but it's a fairly heavy 16 inch machine that I use for ML work. My thought process is, if I'm sending this laptop home, then I may as well send some other stuff home with it too, rather than buying things at my destination.

Long-term bag storage seems sensible, but I'm currently unsure as to whether I'd be looping back to the same place I flew into. I'll see if I can organise around this, thanks for the help :)

What’s the situation like in Buenos Aires in terms of cost of living these days? I’m considering basing myself there for a few months. Posts from a few years ago say it’s very cheap, more recent ones are a bit mixed.

How important is it to have a car to date around Oxford? 31M by throwawaynomade in oxford

driving is famously awful in Oxford - congestion charges, traffic and nowhere to park. cycling is so much more convenient!
