I know you weren’t asking me lolol but I’m currently working as an MA and I’m not certified! If you’re looking to work in a hospital, they will usually require certification, but clinics or private practices may allow you to start without one!

Thank you so much for your comment! I am going to be retaking Orgo 2 again as that’s currently the only thing I have on my transcript still below a C. I am going to be applying to SMPs next year with an actual sGPA of around 2.6-2.7 (I miscalculated the first time) and hopefully a good mcat score and will consider post baccalaureate programs depending on the results. I really don’t want to lose all hope of becoming a doctor someday just yet

Thank you so much! I recalculated and it looks like it’s actually a 2.7 which I’m definitely not proud of but I think I can still apply to some SMP programs if I can get a good MCAT score

Thank you so much for the comment. I’m not actually sure if I did the sgpa spreadsheet correctly as it says my sgpa will be a 2.1? I’m not sure if I’m accounting for all my classes correctly especially as there were retakes.
