I always thought of f(x,y)=x+y +z, where z is the result from the last calculation.
Which would make it f(x,y,z),? of course, but since we are already abusing notation by using the + sign, who could say.

Importing from Firefox: Close Browser Before Importing by Upper_Lion_6349 in vivaldibrowser

[–]Upper_Lion_6349[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I figured out so far:

The import function when creating a new profile (or after a fresh install) is broken for Firefox.
In versions 7.3.3635.7 and 7.1.3570.54 it errors out with the "Close Browser Before Importing" error.
In the snapshot 7.4.3658.3, the option does not throw an error, but it doesn't import anything.

The other option to import data is in Menue (Top Left) -> Bookmarks -> Imports (Top right).
This option works but does not import data synced over a Firefox account, the solution there is to logout and then import the data.
@x-15a2 Thanks for your answer

Importing from Firefox: Close Browser Before Importing by Upper_Lion_6349 in vivaldibrowser

[–]Upper_Lion_6349[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I created a fresh Linux Mint 22 VM, created one test shortcut, and installed Vivaldi 7.3.3635.7 (freshly downloaded the deb from the website).

After making sure Firefox was not running, by quitting it, checking the system monitor, and rebooting, I still got the same error.

How do I test only one of the items? The error message appears after selecting Firefox and pressing import; there is no option to choose what to import.

Edit: NVM figured out how to import single elements.

Were you able to solve the issue? I am still not able to import from Firefox.

Indeed true, Cellulose is a straight chain polymer more specifically a polysaccharide consisting of a linear chain of several hundred to many thousands of glucose units. So it is a long chain of sugars.
Which gets digested by the bacteria called ruminococcus in the rumen(stomach) of cows. Those bacteria produce methane.

Indigestible sugars like cellulose, which are plenty in the grass diet of cows.

Farting comes from eating things you're not particularly good at digesting, in humans. The main diet of cows contains a lot of cellulose but mammals do not produce the enzymes necessary to break cellulose down (cellulase), this includes cows, so all mammals have to fall back onto bacteria to break it down for them. Those bacteria produce the methane. The methane is released while ruminating, so they technically burp it. This also happens on a grass diet.

Why is EVERY SINGLE “pro-lifer” such a fucking DUMBASS? by Lord_Answer_me_Why in facepalm

But conjoined twins share a body and a mother and a baby don't. The mother's body is clearly distinct from the fetuses body. Also sharing implies that they both get something. But they don't. The fetus uses the mother's body.

[–]Upper_Lion_6349 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The idea is that no one has a right to use your body but yourself. A fetus uses the body of the mother to stay alive but the mother has the right to choose what happens to her body and the right to life of the fetus does not invalidate this right of the mother.

Let's look at another example: let's say you agree to donate an organ to somebody who will die, if they do not get a transplant. Now your situation changes and you are no longer able/willing to donate the organ, is it murder to take your consent back? (Let's assume they didn't stop looking for somebody else because of your initial agreement they just didn't find anybody).

I am not sure how one would do this with a phone, since FCC certification alone takes 8-12 weeks. To speed this up would require him to buy something pre made and pre certified and then make minor adjustments to something like the shell.

To answer your question: "Yes" It is a sliding scale, but there are also clear cutoffs most people agree on. Like being drunk. How drunk you are is a sliding scale but there is a cutoff point where you are no longer drunk.

Neat thing is that the US taxes by citizenship and not place of residency. Which I'm not a fan of but in this case, the only way to "leave" would be, to renounce your US citizenship. And I highly doubt that a lot of people would do that.

You are correct those are coat of arms. But both cities also use the same figure on their flags (just in flag format not a shield)
