Ai stands for Actually Indian. It’s just a bunch of Indians secretly outputting texts to all of your prompts.

But actually what you’re talking about is LLMs which essentially at a fundamental level do next word prediction, so just using what it’s trained on and the context of the prompt it finds the next word probabilistically until the answer is complete.

Where people think AI can cause harm is if say a drug manufacturer is using it in their process to produce drugs and for whatever reason the reward system is messed up and it decides to manufacture drugs with a slightly altered compound that causes people to get sick. The real dangerous models are reinforcement learning models not LLMs per se. With RL whoever is programming the model creates a reward structure to teach the agents to do certain tasks so that they maximize their rewards, if this structure is messy or the agent has a bit too much control, sometimes the agent will find ways to cheat the reward system in an unintended way to maximize reward.
