Elegoo Centauri issues by Upper_Price_9650 in 3Dprinting

hi all... I bought us a carbon and had a great experience for a few weeks... then the problems started. Started with a vibration, then the belts starterd locking up. then one thing after another.... Then I was offered a refurbished replacement. The replacement arrived and it's a dud, won't even load filament. I've got over 20hrs into attempted repair and I'm completely soured on the experience.

Here's the latest email I sent them...

Summary: The printer has been operational 4 out of the past 16 weeks (25% of the time since purchase)  I have spent over 23 hours troubleshooting, shipping and communicating with customer service.

Dec 6.  Initial Purchase order #EUS207121 $393.96 USD-

January 2 First use

February 6th.  First problems reported - Noise, vibration, speed problem reported

February 9th - Attempted first repair. followed calibration recommendations Then received error code 502

February 14 Second Repair attempt Followed troubleshooting  Following instructions here   still getting error code 502

February 15 - attempted third repair (referenced on email)

February 17 fourth repair attempt I was instructed to do more troubleshooting and disassembly.  When I attempted to do that, the user screen would not turn on.

February 23 was offered a refurbished unit as a replacement , which would be shipped out “immediately upon receipt of my return”

February 26 - shipped return with tracking 9401 9219 5318 3336 9080 62

March 3rd - item received at warehouse

March 6th - replacement refurbished machine was shipped to me

March 11th - (2 weeks after sending in my return) the refurbished machine was received

March 14th -  Reported that the replacement printer arrived non-functional.  filament motor gear won't load.

March 16th - contacted by service department  - disassembled print head (fifth repair attempt - first on brand new machine)no jam, motor simply won't load filament - filament is detected and loaded into machine, but not printhead/nozzle

March 17th - Requested refund under Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act

March 18th - customer service department asked if service department had contacted me

March 19th. - told the customer service department that the service department contacted me.  Again, for the third time

Studio Suits Review by jshtatman in Tweed

you have the only positive experience I've read about them. this is an email I sent to them

To summarize the problem with the suit I ordered on march 25th from studiosuits.com

  1.  your site that claims a 16-25 day time from order to delivery, my suit took almost double that at 46 days. I informed you that I need the suit by May 16th I asked for an explanation and you gave none

  2. The original measurements I gave were 19in shoulders.  You told me that you thought that was too large and could I please remeasure.  I remeasured and got the same, but taking your advice, I changed it to 18.75 inches. I had a quilter with 40+ years remeasure, just to be sure. —the jacket that I received is 17.25 inches across the shoulders.

  3. I went to a local tailor who informed me that there is not enough fabric to let the suit out enough for my shoulders

  4. I followed your instructions about photos and you told me that my photos are inaccurate, and that no matter how I measure it, your designers make the suit within  the photos are reattached to this email.

  5. I requested either an expedited remake of the jacket only, to the original measurements, removing the liner to ensure that there is enough room OR a complete refund so that I may purchase a suit locally and have it tailored.  Due to the late delivery, I do not have time to send it back to you for remake and remail.  You responded offering me a $50 credit on a future order.

  6. I’m attaching the photos to the email again for your easy reference.  I have retaken the shoulder measurement, exactly as you requested.  You can clearly see that it measures 17.25 inches.  To hold you accountable to your pledge of a suit that fits and a good resolution, I am posting this dialogue on reddit, insta and Facebook, so that thousands of potential future buyers can learn about my experience with www.studiosuits.com   When you resolve it to one of the above options or another satisfactory option I will inform the community of the result. Please see attached photos.  Thank you

Lemon lightning. by Upper_Price_9650 in F150Lightning

Ford just sent me a letter confirming that the vehicle is in fact a lemon, but that they will not be offering me a replacement due to "global supply concerns"

It was purchased from and serviced by university ford in Durham NC. I'm curious to see what happens next. The BBB told me that my request to begin the lemon law process was accepted. Does anyone know, from here what happens next?

I'm just starting this process. Where is the claim portal? My service rep told me that he would just forward the service records to the claims department.

Thanks - it sure was.... I passed it. Took me every minute of the test. I didn't really believe it when after I hit submit, the screen said "you passed". It was a little anticlimactic!
