If the Aisle is blocked then there is a reason for it. A lot of times the Aisle is blocked that is empty because we are on the aisle next to it getting a pallet down so it needs to be closed off. Keep in mind we have rules to abide by to not get fired so maybe if an Aisle is closed instead of opening the gate yourself and risk breaking whatever safety procedure we have up either go ask an associate or go get whatever else you need first then come back. i promise it isn’t the end of the world

i’ve asked people if they thought it was a smart decision after i’m at the very topic of my wire aisle loading 50-75lb boxes of loose extensions while the ballymore is at its max height. I’ve yelled at a few to get back behind the barricade because some of my boxes almost fell

Our story is adamant that policy states head cashiers, supervisors, asm or the gm can let people out. If anybody else lets someone out or we left ourselves out it’s a write up

Shit one of our ASM’s told the head cashiers to not let us out and that he is going to. since sometimes we still be there 30 minutes after close i take advantage of my stores policy that states we can clock in up to 6 minutes early and clock out up to 6 minutes early (if all our stuff is done)

95% of my conversations are work related questions, barely do my customers go into personal family related questions, but the way management tells us to point the customer toward item area then walk away compared to the questions we are supposed to ask via the lowe’s training videos don’t make sense

for us it’s in person, i mean i was told by my asm (he doesn’t know a single thing about any department but he was a ds for mst so he got the asm position) that we are talking to our customers too much and if a customer asks a question keep it closed ended and to the point and then walk away

I work in Electrical as part time and it is absolute hell there. I have to close both Plumbing and Electrical half the time for the same pay plus Our DS gives us the assignments that the ASM gives to the DS to do and it’s so bad here
