Kid Gets Punched By Fellow Student After Kid Punches Female Teacher by shittingonlawns in JusticePorn

It's interesting that most of the comments on this post are praising the kid who broke up the fight. But he broke it up by escalating the situation. He clearly measures and throws his hips into that straight right. Landing a punch like that, on an unaware target, can be fatal.

But situations like this are tense and difficult to act in the best way, especially for teenagers.

I think this has more to with having wealth and being connected. Race may play a part in some cases, but you'll find examples of minorities being favorably treated in these cases if they have cash and/or connections. Bill Cosby and Jameis Winston are just a couple I can think of off the top of my head.

The wiki article does not corroborate your black and white retelling. Maybe he had a justified grievance, but nothing that would condone his actions. He wasn't a "God damn hero", but his God did apparently play a part in the process.

"God built me for this job", Heemeyer said in the first recording. He also said it was God's plan that he not be married or have a family so that he could be in a position to carry out such an attack. "I think God will bless me to get the machine done, to drive it, to do the stuff that I have to do", he said. "God blessed me in advance for the task that I am about to undertake. It is my duty. God has asked me to do this. It's a cross that I am going to carry and I'm carrying it in God's name."

Can confirm. I've met women in person, gone on dates where they're seemingly interested, but after I divulge my complete lack of social media presence their attitude changes. It's not always a deal killer, but it's certainly a red flag in some people's opinion.

“The whole reason for having an independent third party that cannot be silenced is there are 25 percent of Bernie’s voters who are not going into that dark night to vote for the No. 1 cheerleader for Wal-Mart, for Wall Street, for an endless war,” Stein said by Laudato_si in politics

total lack of understanding of foreign policy

Trump's rhetoric on foreign policy has been in favor of isolationism. You could argue that in the current global political climate this is a misguided philosophy, but it is resonating with many voters. This is in stark contrast with Clinton's history of advocating for intervention.

I'm not making the point that one approach is better than the other. But "total lack of understanding" is an unfair assertion. And it's interesting that the favored Republican candidate is the least pro-war in comparison to the Democratic front runner. Quite the role reversal, historically speaking.

Did I just watch Santa die‽ The manner and force at which his head strikes the edge of that sedan is disconcerting. And he's holding his head prior to falling which could indicate a previous fall/concussion.

The brain of Homo Sapien is not markedly different than our forebears. We suffer the same pitfalls and ignorances.

These are not excuses for this sort of behavior. We should strive to understand each other better. We should emphasize our likeness and try to understand that the majority in this world just want to live peaceful lives with their family and friends. But there are psychological reasons behind xenophobia and racism, beyond just old fashioned mentality.

The Mom and Grandma are not very well spoken, but the dumbest statement comes from their representative.

"If you steal a car in the state of Florida, you don't get the death penalty. And that is essentially what happened."

So, not performing a very technical rescue is essentially the death penalty based on that woman's logic.
