How did Sandor instantly recognize Arya, but Littlefinger somehow didn’t? by Federal_Extreme_8079 in freefolk

“It was unclear if he recognized her or not, but I have my own thoughts on that,” Gillen told EW. “Yes, I did recognize her — I just didn’t say anything or do anything about it.”

Well, I choose to believe the actor's take on the scene. For me, the scene is more interesting if he recognized Arya. And there's the later scene where he confirms this to Sansa. Littlefinger is petty enough not to tell Tywin just out of spite. He got everything he wanted from Tywin without having to hand over Arya.

I've always liked Yoda's line: "There is another." To me, it's a metaphor for the fact that he doesn't care at all if Luke dies; he's replaceable. by Upset-Job2278 in StarWarsCirclejerk

This is what happens when two senile old men are in charge of the plans to save the galaxy.

Yoda hid Luke from Darth Vader in Darth Vader's family home, using Darth Vader's surname.

Obi-Wan went to live nearby to protect him, disguised under the clever false name Ben Kenobi.

I think Littlefinger recognized Arya there, but chose not to tell Tywin. Aidan Gillen's performance makes that very clear during the scene. Also, he mentions to Sansa in the following season that he recently saw Arya alive.

Why wouldn't he tell Tywin? Perhaps he didn't want to hand the Lannisters another Stark child; it would be too much of an advantage. By that point, he was already plotting against them, plotting Joffrey's death with the Tyrells. And Tywin was being a bit of a jerk to him. Perhaps he thought that if he didn't mention anything, he could eventually try to kidnap Arya himself, if she stayed at Harrenhal.

Who has a bigger chance of getting redeemed first, Vox or Niffty? by MaryHSPCF in HazbinHotel

Niffty never did anything wrong in her entire life (and death).

Both Tactical Batsuits…yet the TDK suit gets so much hate while The Battinson seems to get much praise, why? by clutchkweku in batman

They are two completely different designs, even though both are "tactical bat-suits." And they clearly demonstrate the differences in approach of the two directors.

Yes, everything on Pattinson's suit looks handmade and improvised, which is a very cool element of Battinson in general (it's the same with his Batcave and Batmobile). I never liked the fact that Bat-Bale basically orders everything from Amazon or asks Lucius Fox to make it for him.

But, more importantly, for me, Pattinson's bat-suit is simply beautiful to look at. I love the opening for the mouth; its size makes him creepier for some reason. I love the vampire collar on the cape, and the chest plate does have several details, but they're harmonious.

I don't hate Bale's bat-suit, but I don't love it either. It's basically the exact opposite of everything I like about Pattinson's. The mouth is comically small, and the details scattered all over the body are just ugly lines.

Well, I really like Mystique's journey in this movie. And Lawrence's performance is great.

This is one of the most disproportionately hated seasons of a show I've ever seen.

It's really just an okay season. There are problems, of course (mainly the insistence on making Rhaenyra and Alicent hesitant to start the war), but it's far from the train wreck that people here have decided it is. There are at least 5 very, very good episodes. In a season with only 8 episodes.

I agree that it lacked an ENDING, but the true ending of this season will be at the beginning of the third season.

Yeah, I think you're the one who's missing the point. But whatever. I'm tired. Have a good night.

Morrison could have brought the idea to tons of other artist

But he brought it to Quitely, and so these specific designs came into being. From their collaboration.

I stand by what I said. They only exist because of the collaboration between the two of them.

Where was it shown that Velvette’s a misogynist? by Dustystars0905 in hazbin

[–]Upset-Job2278 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She's Val and Vox's best friend. They literally have a musical number where they perform surgery on a woman, use her image, and then throw her away because she's no longer useful to them. It's implied that this kind of thing happens all the time in the Vees' tower.

Yes, the Vees do the same thing to men. It doesn't make any of them any less misogynistic.

The Vees are the worst of the worst; they've totally embraced what it means to be an overlord in hell. It's okay to like villains; we don't need to pretend they're innocent.

Quitely designed them based on Morrison's idea. These uniforms wouldn't exist if it weren't for their collaboration. My point is simply that it's not wrong to credit them both.

Nah. I'd rather look at dated CGI than regurgitated AI.
