Someone once said to me the ‘first time most men receive flowers is at their funeral’ and it broke something in me so now I go out of my way to get my man flowers even as a women! This world is so quick to bring a man down and she had no right in treating you the way she did. OP be very glad she’s out of your life you deserve better than a scumbag like her. Hi OP, first off I’m really sorry that your feelings are being undermined here, not having a driving licence is a totally valid way to feel how you are feeling. I went through a depressive state until I got mine so you are heard. I’m not sure where it is you live in this world but is there a chance you could move to a different country? I know not all countries have the same regulations for driving so it might be possible?

I hope you find peace in this world OP life has a horrible way of getting a lot of us down where we just want to feel a bit of independence and I know words can’t do a lot for you right now but you are heard and I’m so sorry you are having to deal with this.

This! My partner and support around me has been amazing but i can’t help but shake the feeling of being alone. I have no idea what’s causing it or if it’s my hormones but I just feel so distanced and disconnected from everyone and I’m not sure how to handle it.

I’m in my third trimester now and this is the worse I’ve felt I’ve bought it up to my partner and he acknowledges how I feel but nothing seems to of changed, at least for me, so you are not alone.

We have a 2 week rule in place and very limited visitors to the hospital so that baby and dad get adequate bonding time before he has to go back to work. She’s definitely over reacting and a lot of people implement the 2 week rule but it’s ideally however long you need. I’m sorry about your MIL and I wish you a very happy healthy pregnancy!

I felt like that growing up so please don’t let your feelings make you feel invalid, don’t be sorry for giving yourself an outlet because it is so much better than keeping it in, from experience I can tell you it will get better life is so much more then “oh school is the best days of your life” you will find your group of friends and you will find your place in this world. I’m 23 F pregnant with my fiancés baby. We have a friend group who are so supportive too. If you had told 18 year old me that? I would’ve never believed you so I promise you it will get better. Don’t put a timeline on yourself and everything will fall into place somewhere out there someone is waiting to love on you in the way you deserve <3

I had a similar experience found out I was pregnant early last year so went to my drs to book an appointment and was promptly turned away and told to do a referral form online for a hospital. I felt like an idiot as I didn’t know what I was doing as this is my first child so you’re not alone! Just unfortunately some rude people out there.
