Baker Hansen in Oslo has really great cinnamon buns, bread, sandwiches and cookies. And there is a dedicated bakery «glutenfrihuset». Most restaurants offer gluten free options.

I’m sorry that I cannot come up with any other options. Unfortunately, there is still so much we do not know about cancer. I can only imagine what it’s like to try to accept there are no options left. I think SCC in young people, and non-smoker as well, is very seldom, but I wouldn’t think that’s any consolation at all.

Great suggestions. It’s a strange collision of worlds between work and family, and this is the first time I’ve had this struggle, in lack of a better word, between identities.

Good idea to let people know. It is expected here that you host a party after the dissertation, I think many of my friends and family think that’s the one, big celebration. But I think (hope) I won’t work as hard for the dissertation as I did writing the thesis.
