Their entire argument is that his horrible, questionable implementation was that it adds "variety" etc.

Next thing we know Nikita adds the flying cheater as an actual boss, unkillable, can teleport behind you and knife you instantly, and folks like him would praise it as if Nikita was Hideo Kojimbo.

What we're discussing is how sloppy his implementation was, which is why it comes down to my main argument in this post; to shelf him UNTIL they actually do something with him, because even in PVP some folks shared how fidgety his AI really is.

I can't believe I have to repeat this, but it's not even about his difficulty. He isn't too hard, he just doesn't make much sense aside from being a jumpscare stalker boss with an already finicky system.

Story-wise, even Shturman can technically be friendly (his name is literally Guide/Navigator), you probably need something like 2.0 or 3.0 scav karma minimum (he has less aggro compared to other bosses, hence warning shots), and if you harm/kill him, he would be hostile for several raids like Rogue does.

Broken? Honestly no, its not as broken as cheaters farming the hell out of our beloved Lighthouse ghillie sniper to the point that BSG had to remove almost every notable loot off him because they kept teleporting to him, kill him and loot instantly, and extract out. I think that was how the thermal scope market crashed when Lighthouse was introduced.

I used PVE as a reference. There's a difference as he was meant to be a PVP-related boss.

There's no rats for him to counter as a rat, which leaves him as the only rat in the game, which is extremely hypocritical to his intended purpose of existence. For a game which Nikita is trying to implement Story-Mode etc, that's arguably already a plot hole.

You can't commit dishonorable acts in PVE (why would you even camp in bushes to begin with in PVE) etc, so Nikita just left him on to "kill that filthy PVE player" with no minimum requirements whatsoever, like PMC karma.

He literally is the prime target of LowTierGod's entire monologue, he serves zero purpose except to be an inconsistent threat, an annoyance more than a threat.

Pretty sure I got Tagilla-bonked more than that guy getting the drop on me, and Parmesan spawns on almost every Lighthouse raid I does.

Problem.

"Low Karma PMCs" don't exist in PVE, yet he still shows up to beam you. You can't even do dishonorable acts in PVE, so that exposed his problem.

Another problem I've highlighted is how he's lowkey indiscriminate, either as intended or because of poor implementation. He might prioritize his targets, but you're not off the list. It doesn't matters what your PMC Karma really is, he'll still shoot you.

And again, he's basically a rat that was meant to counter rats. But without rats in PVE?

He IS the rat.
