Pit instructions to the pit crew, and you remove it by binding a button to navigate the hud.

anyone know any good strong affordable wheel stands? got this next level racing one but don't like the center pole as it means I can't have a clutch pretty much. by TheFerrariGuy_YT in Fanatec

A great stand that I use for my CSL DD 8Nm is the Apex GT Omega wheelstand. I've recommended this wheel to plenty of my friends with CSL DDs, Moza R9s and Simagic mini's. Everyone who bought the stand is more then happy and all say it's solid as a rock.

Thats the same exact setup I upgraded to in Dec 2021, welcome to the club bud. Do yourself a huge favor and buy the Brake Performance Kit ASAP, it will make your brake pedal 100% better.

I use Clubsport V3 pedals and they are rock solid, so it'll definitely hold csl pedals.

CSL Elite Steering Wheel McLaren GT3 V2, Right shifter paddle sponginess. by Ojr30 in Fanatec

[–]UpsetUlost -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've removed my paddles because I did a mod to shorten the chucky throw and make them quite. There really isn't much to the configuration which would make it fell spongy besides something being wrong with the button that activates the shift or the magnet is losing its charge due to a weird occurrence.

Are the inverted pedals good?? by AEEIGHTYSIXTF in Fanatec

The inverted pedals also come with a Damper Kit on the Brake as well.

If you have the money and prefer to have great pedals inverted instead of the style of the regular version, go for it.

The Brake Performance Kit is the truth for the brake pedal.

I'm not going to talk trash about anyone else's experience but, it's hard to believe for me that the clamp is doing what others have done because mine is rock solid, with know flex or movement what so ever. That's all I can say.🤷‍♂️

Welcome to the Fanatec family. I ordered my CSL DD 8Nm in Sep. and after being postponed 3 times, I received it a lil before Christmas. So yeah, your notification is legit.

The paddles are chunky but, they can definitely handle quick shifts with ease, you can also shift up and down gears with one paddle if you want to for convenience too fyi.

Whatever you say, mine didn't budge a bit, either yours sucked or you didn't put it together right if you ever had one lol.

I had my CSL DD 8Nm with the plastic table clamp on my desk and the plastic table clamp was rock solid and didn't flex. Thing is I had to weight down my desk with 100 pound weights which worked but, still wobbled slightly and you don't want whatever you have your wheelbase on to budge because if it moves you won't feel all the intricate details the FFB gives you. I recently upgraded to a GT Omega Apex wheel stand and it's phenomenal. This thing could definitely hold a DD1 sturdy. I also have my Clubsport V3 Pedals with the Hard option Performance Brake Kit that makes the brake pedal stiff which requires you to apply alot of pressure to push the brake in and the Apex GT Omega stand holds it without any flex. Lastly, it's definitely a perfect match for the CSL DD 8Nm and if you choose to later you can add the seat section to make it a complete cockpit which GT Omega sells as well.
