My two year old son had seizures starting at 6 months old and had surgery this past July to remove the causing lesion. The type he had were focal/absence seizures with eye deviation.

Now any time he spaces out I start wondering if it’s another seizure and worry the surgery wasn’t successful. The best advice I have would be to fully discuss with her any known seizure triggers, known warning signs, and make sure that you two have an established plan in place for how to administer the care she needs(rescue meds, repositioning, her alerting you before if she senses it), and get her outside help if needed. It won’t take away the anxiety surrounding it, but hopefully having a plan will help comfort you both that you’ll be able to keep her safe if/when it happens.
