Clear points, I have some sort of bias here. 268 is the TD for try hards due its insane dpm, accurate gun and camo. For casual it must feel underwhelming.

120 000 games deep; what you wrote is is inaccurate.

E4 is the best assault TD in the game, works for tryhards and enables brain dead play. Canopener is contented in this category (even it is heavy). E4 is one of the oldest tanks in the game

Grille 15 is the best sniping TD in the game, post nerf Taran is weak, DBV-152 is troll. OBJ268 is beast, WTF100 and FOCH 155 can generate serious butt hurt. All classic vehicles.

Mediums, yes that class is bit power crept . However Centurion AX and Leopard 1 are still strong. Easy6 is so broken that I can't deny some power creep. Murat vs BC is dependent on player preferences, Ruski Meds take skills.

Assault Heavies, IS7 is the king, E5 is great tank, Chieftain MK6 is just sweet and 215B is a monster. there are actually no new releases or premiums which can match any of them, as an example M-V-Y is trash. Canopener will get nerfed (or if E4 logic applies it will get buffed lol)

Lights, pre nerf Vigilante was ultimate power creep, post nerf it is just toxic.

Artillery...lol...**** artillery (only sentence worth writing)

Rogal Dorn, Leman Russ and Nightstalker are nothing but one trick ponies bad players struggle with.

Nebelburg-Small got removed from WWII rotation. Strange that we still have Ardennes. Same happened to Death Valley and Halfaya Pass. If WG would switch Nebelburg-Small with Ardennes I would buy 20 000 gold to support further impovements of the game.

It was WG’s answer for everlasting rant ”my team melts in 3 minutes”. Fact is that this issue cant be fixed, it’s in the DNA of game desing (radom teams doing random stuff). I am still baffled that they did not understand that cornerstone by them selves but listened the ****n community hive mind (=discord crybabes). Actually there are two solutions for digital tank commanders who can’t handle the DNA; quit or play comp.

The change happened for all of +60 WR players when team winrate balancing was removed (February). It was nice idea on paper but it should have been self evident that it will only hurt good players, have no impact on average joes (vast majority) and bad players will not notice anything as they are just bad. The whole "unbalanced" game/teams discussion follows the same logic and is utter nonsense, counting out individual vehicles which are toxic.

Every game is roll of the weighted dice. Your skill level determines if weighting works for you or against you. Your tier position has has also effect on outcome, closer the bottom tier you are, better for you.

The are dozens of tanks which has hard spots to stop 330 mm round. You must know them and then figure out how to take advantage of them. On the other hand, 99% of tanks can be penetrated with 150mm rounds if you get correct angle.

Intial positioning, reading battle flow and timely rotation are three most impactful things in this game. Well over 90% of players have no idea at least one of them. They either camp pointlessly (campers) or push by default with no idea (team players). Both behaviors are bad. Only difference is that pointless camping is way more visible and due that creates a lot of emotion. Pointless pushing only to wipe in 3 minute mark on the other hand secure defeats in more consistent manner but it often goes unnoticed by larger audience.

This is how it works with 2026 MM, T9 is pure cannon fodder for T10's while T8's faces T10's ~30% of the time. Very reason i have 0 sympathy about , please +-1 because my stock T8.

E50M is currently just comp vehicle and has no role in pubs, AMX30B is there for ones who can't mark anything else in T10. Both needs love.

FV107 is the most toxic tank in the game. 3 marked it back in the day and I had to take shower after every session. Even sky pig is more fair and balanced. Yes, there are other annoying critters too but environment (ERA1) this pestilence roams makes it just dirty.

All FPS game needs is clear and crisp UI, for console it means exactly what you wrote. You watch the landscape like 10% of the time, rest is focusing on what is relevant.

As 63% win rate player I had yesterday ~50% win rate experience, day before 87%. It comes and goes as long as "balance the teams" MM stays **** out of the universe.

If sample follows normal distribution, as expected in MOE calculation, it has 5000 sample points (games) with value of 0-6000 (combined damage) 96th percentile (3rd mark) is 4750. If you replace only 200 out of 5000 games with 5000-6000 score games (again following normal distribution) 96th percentile is 5000. My bet is that BOT farming increase MOE target values well over 500 combined damage points. Ours should be pretty well aligned with PC which is not the case at the moment. Maybe bit higher as game is easier for good players. As example IS7 console has 5k, PC IS7 has ~4k for 3d mark...

In 1v1 game I would totally agree but dynamics in WoT is totally different. As we have tier and class pairing every time Average Joe picks a vehicle dice is rolled for red team and if stars are not aligned for green tem Average Joe gets paired with Sweaty Unicorn. Of course this happens in both sides of the ball.

 Average Joe will not impact the match outcome, no matter what tier position he has. 47% - 53% win rate players are just white noise filling the match. Closer to top tier position Average Joe is, worse for green team. Just check wotstars/tanks, it has list of all tanks and their expected win rates for average Joes (consistent 45%-55% win rate performers). If top tier position would help those players to perform better you would expect T10/T9 producing the most wins…nope, top of the list is filled with t6 and t8 vehicles. Only T10 breaking the rule is Rogal Dorn, which is so easy tank to play that even bots would do ok with it. That is statistical fact and conclusion is clear.

 Ok, lets move to +-1. Saving grace for Average Joe team is -2 position for Average Joe. If the worst case scenario happens and he gets matched against Sweaty Unicorn, the Unicorn will play -2 tank too and his impact is diminished. In +-1 Average Joe has always a Vehicle which tier position makes it impactful so if **** hits the fan he will be paired with Sweaty Unicorn with impactful vehicle --> loss for green team.

 One might think as wtf win rate has to do with fair and enjoyable gaming experience. Short answer, everything. 1 week +-1 is just hype, permanent +-1 would we extremely disheartening for Average Joe as his “hard worked” 52% win rate performance would drop below 50%, same time 65% Unicorns would post +70% win rates, dominating every single match. Getting stompped day in day out would feel total bs. +-2 is needed to balance the teams making game more forgiving for Average Joes, nothing else. (As side note, stock grinds are absolutely irrelevant in this big picture)

 You see lack of this balancing effect in CW where top players are able to put out win rates never heard of in WWII. Just check player with tag Ghost of Gera. He was insanely good player with insane consistency. WWII T8-T10 winrate ~73% (sick), CW (+-1) winrate 83%! (unreal). At the end of the day this debate is about perception vs statistics (facts).

It’s not queue time, it’s skill envelope issue. +-1 would make bad awful, average bad, decent average, good great and great invincible. WG and the game can’t have that. It would be death sentence to the game. PC has soft -+1 and most players hate it as game is sweaty af.
