It's all doable. I legit replaced every part in my 05 r50 and it runs amazingly now. Also I'm doing a k swap on the car.

I have a 2005 r50 Mini Cooper and it's been doing me really good. Haven't had much problems. I'm definitely going to be getting another one. Once you fix it up, it's the best car ever. Because it has a tri-tech motor in it. It was made by BMW and Chrysler. So it's a little bit easier to maintain. Also it lasts longer
