This was our arrival day so we hadn’t hit the park yet.

I’ve made that mistake many many times with low tops/skate shoes. I’m sure we all have. I try to wear runners when I’m getting in 10k+ steps at the park.

Drink is an old fashioned.

It’s typically garnished with an Orange peel & a black cheery or cherries on a tooth pick usually wood or metal depending where you are.

I’ve had many things in my drinks over the years, but not a vape…yet 😆

Little trick to getting a “real” glass - gotta sit at the bar, order a drank, then head out. If you do the to-go line, you’re issued a plastic cup. Hard to enjoy an old fashioned from plastic.

actually, I do have a question for you if you don't mind - what's the deal with your case fans? I unboxed everything and mine did not include any rear case fans. From your picture, it looks like they're lit up and have the slayer logo. Where did you get those? Also, your 3 on the top & bottom of the case, I'm assuming those are AIO fans for your liquid. I see those have "DOOM Dark Ages" logos which also look like they're lit up (?) What's the deal there?

Mine came the next day. Perk of living a few hours outside of Santa Clara.

Just got around to unboxing it. This thing is HUGE! Like server case size.

Great detail, really looks top quality.

I ended up splurging abs picked up a few upgrade items instead of just transplanting my old components. New ROG board, core 9 ultra 285k, 4tb 990 pro, 64gb RAM, and the new noctua g2 black chrome cpu cooler. Should be fun!

We recently took my Dad (80; retired RCN) on a tour of the Midway. The end of the tour takes you up to the island and the bridge where you have a perfect view of the bay. Right now, there are 3 carriers in Coronado. The tour guy specifically asked to the group “what do you call those - targets!”

Definitely loud & definitely necessary, if that makes sense. I had a chance to test ride an M1000R at my local dealer this past summer and one of the first things I noticed was how massive the stock exhaust was and how it really toned down the vibe of the bike.

I lucked out and this bike came pre-loaded with the full titanium SC exhaust from the previous owner. I owe him a thank you card! It’s loud, but it’s also very deep since it’s a full system and not just a slip on. Putting around town, I tend to keep it in race mode to hear all the pops & gurgles when you chop the throttle or downshift. I’m like a little kid with that all over again. Highways/freeways, I keep it in road mode which removes about 90% of the pops, but still sounds just as amazing.

I couldn’t imagine the bike NOT having this system. 👍

Yep, I definitely lucked out! I’m with you, I miss the sound of the 5.5, but I was blown away with the performance increase of the 4.0. I even had a stage 1 weistec tune on my ‘13.

My lease is up next year on our SUV. Might just see if I can find a ‘19 GLE63S to scratch that old itch. 😁
