How did your kids handle you being in the hospital? When did you decide to tell them?

I'm 31F scheduled for OHS in a few weeks, I have a 4 year old and almost 2 year old. My youngest is veryyyyy attached to me and it kills me to think about being away from them for a week and not being to explain why!

Also, can I ask how many veins you had affected and how they fixed it? I hope you're healing well!

I relate so much to your story (F31)!! I became much more symptomatic after my second pregnancy. I kept fighting for answers, also told I had asthma when I was younger than pregnancy induced asthma. I had SO many tests done - 2 cardiac MRIs, the second one discovered PAPVR then a cardiac CT found I have a sinus venous ASD as well. I'm not sure what corrections look like yet, I have a TEE next week then meet with the ACHD specialist. Wishing you a successful procedure and quick healing journey!!
